Location. Nestled at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains, the Deerfield Lodge at Heavenly is located in South Lake Tahoe, Calif. Surrounded by pine trees, this boutique hotel is less than two miles from the Heavenly Ski Resort, the Ski Run Marina and the Gondola at Heavenly. The hotel is five blocks from Lake Tahoe.
Hotel Features. The Deerfield Lodge at Heavenly offers complimentary continental breakfasts. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel, including the meeting rooms. The hotel offers ski storage and offers shuttle service to the nearby ski lifts.
Guestrooms. The Deerfield Lodge at Heavenly features 12 smoke free guestrooms with fireplaces. Beds include pillowtop mattresses, triple sheeting, down blankets and five pillows. The granite and slate bathrooms offer rainforest showerheads and Bulgari toiletries. Select rooms offer separate showers and jetted tubs. Rooms include coffeemakers, refrigerators and microwave ovens. Complimentary bottled water is provided. Rooms offer cable television, DVD players, CD players and complimentary wireless Internet access. Newspapers are delivered daily.
Expert Tip. The Gondola at Heavenly is available for a fee to transport guests to ski slopes or hiking trails. The gondola stops at an observation deck about 9,000 feet above sea level. The deck features a snack shop, picnic tables, restrooms, coin operated telescopes and panoramic views of Lake Tahoe and Carson Valley.
